Residents in the Newton neighbourhood were reportedly awakened by the sound of multiple gunshots, prompting calls to the Surrey Police Service (SPS). First responders and forensic teams arrived to find the windows and facade of the café heavily damaged. Fortunately, no staff members were injured during the incident, although some were present inside the building at the time.
