October 7, 2025—In a major breakthrough against narcotics smuggling in Rajasthan, the Begun Police in Chittorgarh district arrested a Haryana-based trafficker and seized 151 kg 500 grams of illegal poppy husk (doda chura) from a car on National Highway 27 late on September 11. The operation, part of the ongoing “Operation Green” campaign by the Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN), has disrupted a key supply chain linking Madhya Pradesh’s poppy fields to urban markets in Rajasthan and beyond.
