In a historic moment that solidifies India’s position as a global hub for green mobility, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today officially launched the much-anticipated Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara, the company’s first Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV). The landmark event, held at the Suzuki Motor plant in Hansalpur, Gujarat, also marked the inauguration of a state-of-the-art hybrid battery manufacturing plant, a critical step towards achieving self-reliance in the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem.
